Trip east - Day 2

	The next morning we headed to a kids festival in the little town next to Frank & Charlotte. There was pumpkin painting, bouncy houses, hayrides through the comfortable old town and food.
	Next we headed to MerryMeade Farms, the same place we visited last year. Since we had worn poor Zachary out they stayed home to nap. Annabelle & Nate had fun in the corn maze.

	Then we headed back to Uncle Frank & Aunt Charlotte’s to make our own pizza for dinner.
	We had so much fun just relaxing with everybody.
	That was the best tasting pizza any of us could remember.
	I don’t know how we didn’t get any pictures of Jenny, Zachary or Frank on this day but we didn’t. Good thing we are seeing them again at Thanksgiving! As always, the trip was too short.

Trip out east - Day 1

	We headed east for our annual fall visit with Uncle Frank, Aunt Charlotte and cousin Zachary. Now that trip includes time spent with cousin/Godmother Jenny & Jason as they just moved there for work. We met everybody at a local zoo upon our arrival.
	This was the most lovely little zoo with a fun playplace. Perfect for young children.
	The kids didn’t want to leave.
	As always, Jenny was right there in the mix playing.
	I wanted to recreate the scene from the beginning of Three’s Company but the sun glare on the flamingo didn’t work. We didn’t make it back later after the sun moved.
	There was a caboose that Nate couldn’t get enough of.
	The alligator was so real looking! Very fun afternoon after a long drive. Both kids are already asking when we can go back.

HallowBoo!

	We attended HallowBoo again this year at Idlewild. Second year in a row it was 80 degrees in early October! We trick or treated through StoryBook Forest. Truth is, it was hot, it was crowded, I didn’t take too many pictures. We did stop at all the cut outs which was fun.
	The look on his face cracks me up.
	This is as close as we came to sitting still for a few minutes.
	Nate told the Captain of The Good Ship Lollipop “I’ll just hang out wif you”
	The day she doesn’t fit in the keyhole anymore will be a very sad day indeed
	Once we finished we changed out of costumes and went out into the park. The memory I most want to preserve is how much fun we had on the train. We went on a “haunted” train ride which consisted of riding through the woods laughing at skeletons dressed in costumes. Annabelle loved the cemetery that had the fog machine and Nate said his favorite was the skeleton on the diving board ready to jump in the pond. I love to hear them laugh but when they giggle uncontrollably, well it doesn't get any better than that.

Pumpkin Patching

	We pumpkin patched again this year. A beautiful Indian Summer day in Mid October. Nate was so excited to “help”.
	My attempts to get them to pose together sweetly in front of the pumpkins were met with resistance.
	This was the best they were giving me.
	They did help Nana push the cart with the pumpkins.
	Once again anointed the Pumpkin King & Queen. I love these for comparison purposes.
	The best part was the random “well done” hug while we were waiting in line to pay. These moments are fleeting and I soak up every one.
