Sass-a-frass

This girl is quite the sassy one. What a little know it all! I guess it is just the tone, I mean, I really don’t know where she gets it.

Yesterday she was reading books with Nana; Nate fell asleep so I took the opportunity to get a shower. I put Nate in the swing and off I went for my 20 minutes of peace & quiet each day (Yes, I really look forward to my showers). There I am enjoying the steamy serenity when the shower curtain is ripped back Psycho style and there is my not-quite-two-year-old with that look of accusation she usually reserves for her brother. She states

“Nate is fussy, he is hungry and HE NEEDS PICKED UP!” and off she runs out of the bathroom, leaving me a bit shocked, a lot cold and saying “what the hell?” By the time I got out and dried off, Nana has picked him up out of the swing but he was still fussing, he was indeed hungry.

I guess she told me.

That is too funny. Sounds like something my niece would do!

I was bored so I thought I would read something from your blog that I had missed when originally published. I looked over the titles and chose this one because I use to have a cat (my all time favorite cat - RIP) that I called Sass-a-frass. Anyway, what a great choice. I'm glad that I did not miss this one. I love reading about the things Annabelle says. She brightens my day whenever you share and I can imagine that she brightens your day everyday! Loves!
