I was so very nervous. I knew Annabelle needed a hair cut. I knew it needed to be much shorter. It had gotten to the point where combing it was a battle and even then it just looked weighed down. But I had lots of critics in my ear "Don't cut it - you will lose her curls" "Little girls need long hair".
I trusted my instincts. I trusted my longtime friend & stylist Pam and today we cut it - really, really cut it. When she spun her around in the chair and I was fighting back tears - my little girl looked just like Shirley Temple. Curls intact.
