When I asked the kids to sign cards for Jenny's birthday the first question they had was "Will there be cake?". So we invited Jenny over and she accepted, because Jenny does not turn down cake either.
Annabelle helped me bake the cake. Annabelle & Nate both decorated, as you can see, using every.single.decoration in our little box of things to garnish a cake.
Annabelle helped Jenny make a veil out of the tissue paper from her gift because it was the day after the Royal Wedding and we were all still in Princess mode.
Even with only a few of us it was a festive party indeed.
