I tried to do Annabelle's hair, first for pictures, then for dress rehearsal. While it looked great for an hour it quickly fell and we lost the "curly bigness" that was required of the dancers. So Friday before the recital we went to the salon and hired the experts. Annabelle was quite the princess sitting for an hour getting her hair curled and sprayed.
Next year will be a tight bun, I think we'll be able to manage that better.
