This is a new game the children find to be *hilarious*. They stack a book I like, Sneeches or The Lorax, in front of Fox in Socks or Oh Say Can You Say and walk toward me all innocent (except you can tell they are trying not to giggle) and say sweetly "Mommy, will you read us a story?". When I say "Yes" they drop the front book to reveal the tongue twister book. Then they laugh like it is the first time they ever tricked me, even if it's the 10th time in a row they have done it.
Goodness I love these faces.
