Annabelle had strep throat for the 1st time, she was so sick. Fleury didn't want to leave her side.
In May she missed 3 days of school breaking her perfect attendance record she was so proud of all year. At the time she was so sick she didn't care but as soon as the antibiotics kicked in she expressed her disappointment.
Side note: I knew the medicine had kicked in and she was feeling better when she took all the words Nate & I had spelled in magnets on the fridge (in my attempt to keep him quiet while she slept) and rearranged them in Pig Latin.
