Monkey love

So this monkey showed up at our house about 6 weeks ago. No one saw it come in. No one has admitted to buying it. It has no identifying tags (cut off). It is a tiny pink monkey wearing a T-shirt that says “I’m fabulous” and it is Annabelle’s very favorite thing. It is in her hand from morning until night when it sleeps in her bed. Even Nate knows not to mess with monkey, and Nate messes with everything. It goes in the van with us and stays in the cup holder of her car seat while we are shopping or in stores. It sits at the table while we eat. It sits on the sink while she bathes. She gives it a bottle a few times a day. This goofy little monkey has done what none of the Boyd’s bears, baby dolls or soft chenille stuffed animals have done, become her first Lovie. Who knew?
