Happy St. Patricks Day
As part of my I-need-to-quit-being-lazy-and-do things-because-the-kids-enjoy-them resolution of 2009 here is our St. Patrick’s Day picture. I have resolved to decorate and celebrate every holiday that comes down the pike now that Annabelle is old enough to participate.
Some of my fondest memories are decorating the house with my Nana for Easter, Christmas etc. Bringing out the boxes and seeing the cherished items that have been patiently waiting for reemergence since last year while lovingly finding just the perfect spot for them is something I always enjoyed. Even if I put every single thing on one table Nana would say “looks good”, and then when I got up the next day it would all be evenly distributed throughout the house.
We need to find some more St. Patrick’s things, but shopping and making things is half the fun.

1. I believe we need more days where it's mandated that we wear green.
2. I like the word "reemergence". I'm gonna try and work it into conversation later today...
