Go Steelers
The Steelers were in the Super bowl this year. I mention this only for historical purposes, not because I really want to talk about it.
Last time the Steelers were in the big game (and won!) Nate was only a month old and truthfully I don’t know if I even watched it. Back then sleep overshadowed even the Steelers in the Super bowl.
This year was different; we are all well rested and able to enjoy the festivities. If nothing else it was fun to get dressed up and feel the camaraderie of an entire city. As I read in an article in USA today last week a new father reporting from the hospital where his baby was sleeping peacefully under a Terrible Towel “My child can choose their political party, their religion but they were born here and will be a Steeler Fan for life”
That about sums it up. Better luck next year!
